Сварка с применением давления, при которой нагрев осуществляется токами высокой частоты.

высокочастотная сварка
Контактная сварка, при которой переменный ток частотой не менее 10 кГц подается через механические контакты или наводится в детали и вызывает нагрев для сварки (см. рисунок 28).
Примечание - Высокочастотный ток концентрируется на смежных поверхностях и вызывает высоколокализованный нагрев перед приложением сварочного усилия.
